Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 announced for 2016

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this year, and fans of the original know what’s in store. The history of Dragon Ball is under attack (again), and Bandai Namco wants you to help put things right. Again. Seriously, judging by the announcement trailer, it doesn’t look like much has changed since the first Xenoverse:

Now, we’ve personally played and really enjoyed the first Xenoverse. Some of us managed to get Platinum and grind the Hell out of the game. We’re a little surprised at how they are expanding into the next game, but what we are hoping for is that they will truly accept group work.

The first game wasn’t too shabby for group/teamwork, but essentially the game was a single player game with some co-op available online and matches. The servers were wonky beyond belief and well, it all paid off because the game was super fun.

Let’s just hope they learned something from the first game and will grow even further for the next game. After all, the game franchise is just a sliver of hope for Dragonball Online.
